Chris Geraghty, CCM is President and Senior Scientist at Proactive Environmental Solutions, which he co-founded in 2016. Chris provides environmental consulting and management services to commercial, industrial, and government clients across the U.S. Chris has over 18 years of professional experience in the environmental consulting industry, with extensive experience in regulatory compliance under the CAA, CWA, EPCRA and RCRA, as well as experience with recent legislative developments addressing Climate Change Mitigation and Environmental Justice where policies are already partially in effect in various States. Chris is certified by Virginia DEQ to perform Air Permitting throughout the Commonwealth. As a Certified Consulting Meteorologist (CCM), Chris is an expert in the application of weather information to a host of practical challenges ranging from specialized forecasts to engineering design support and expert testimony. Chris provides support to many manufacturing sectors, including Renewable Energy, Electric Utility Generation, Data Centers, Aerospace, Industrial Gases, Metallurgical, Pharmaceutical, Pulp & Paper, Steel Mills, Military Installations, Oil & Gas, Educational Institutions and Hospitals. Chris is a member of the American Meteorological Society, Virginia Manufacturers Association, as well as the Air & Waste Management Association (A&WMA), where he serves on the Board of Directors for A&WMA’s South Atlantic States Section.
